nimbochromis venustus

General – This fish is also known as the Giraffe Cichlid. They develop spots on their body along with yellow coloration which resembles that of a Giraffe. When young, they look very similar to their close relative which is the Nimbochromis Livingstonii, but for the Venustus the yellow coloration shows pretty quick making it easier to identify one. This is a very common fish in the aquarium hobby due to it’s coloration.
